Role Overview
The Finance Manager role is pivotal within Capital Com UK Limited (CCUK), an FCA-regulated investment firm. This position will be a key member of the UK Finance team, owning four out of six financial pillars: Financial Control & Reporting, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax. The role also supports the Finance Director in areas such as Regulatory Capital and governance. Created to address immediate needs for senior-level capacity during strategic projects like the CCUK platform rebuild, Stockbroking launch, Cards product, and ICARA refresh, this position will play a crucial part in enhancing the control environment and embedding AI and automation into the operating model.
Responsibilities
- Owning Financial Control & Reporting, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax day-to-day operations
- Supporting the Finance Director with Regulatory Capital and governance
- Covering Board, ExCo, and governance forums as required
- Direct management of a Management Accountant
- Leading efforts to embed AI and automation into Finance's operating model
Qualifications
- Strong background in financial control, reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and regulatory capital
- Proven experience in a senior finance role within the investment industry
- Adept at managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience with AI and automation tools is advantageous
- FCA (MIFIDPRU) regulated background preferred
