About the Role

As a Delicatessen Clerk at Hy-Vee in Moline, you'll be a key part of the Delicatessen department, delivering on our promise of a helpful smile in every aisle. This is a non-exempt, full-time position centered on outstanding customer care and the day-to-day operation of the deli counter. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and serve customers at the delicatessen counter with courtesy and efficiency.
• Prepare, portion, weigh, and package deli items to order.
• Stock, rotate, and display products to maintain freshness and visual appeal.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling standards.
• Keep work areas, equipment, and display cases clean and well-organized.
• Support fellow team members to keep the department running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
