Cornerstone Caregiving is hiring a Part Time Daytime Caregiver to provide compassionate, hands-on support to individuals in the Carlisle area of Lonoke County. If you're dedicated to improving the daily lives of others and available during daytime hours, we'd like to meet you.
About the Role
As a Daytime Caregiver with Cornerstone Caregiving, you'll work daytime shifts (8am–6pm availability required) in a role that combines personal care, companionship, and practical support. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling within our operating hours, allowing you to build a sustainable work-life balance while making a real difference in someone's life every single day.
What You'll Do
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and help with eating as needed
- Provide medication reminders and support with medical equipment or monitoring
- Help clients with mobility, transfers, and light physical assistance
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean living environment
- Offer emotional support and meaningful companionship throughout the day
- Communicate with care coordinators and family members about client needs and progress
- Respond promptly to requests and maintain detailed care notes
What We're Looking For
- Genuine compassion for helping others and commitment to person-centered care
- Reliability and a positive, patient demeanor in all interactions
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and daily tasks
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work within a team and follow care plans
- Current CPR or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
