What This Role Involves

As a Data Scientist working on Algorithms for Community Support (CS) at Airbnb, you will collaborate with a strong team of engineers, product managers, designers, and operation agents to enable personalized, fair, and exceptional experiences for guests & hosts using advanced LLM/ML modeling. You will have the opportunity to tackle significant components of high-impact projects that directly shape our AI-powered products, differentiated service experiences, and operational optimization strategies.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Implement advanced techniques to automate the LLM evaluation process with high efficiency and quality.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform product development and operational improvements.
• Develop and maintain machine learning models that enhance community support experiences for both hosts and guests.
• Work closely with the tech lead to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
• Contribute to the design of experiments and testing frameworks to validate model performance and impact.
