About This Position

We are seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team in Palmerston North. As a Community Support Worker at Pact ELMO, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health and addiction challenges, as well as young people. You will be responsible for providing daily support, assisting with personal care needs, and helping them achieve their goals.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to clients based on their unique needs and goals
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
• Support clients in developing daily living skills and promoting independence
• Facilitate social interactions and community engagement opportunities for clients
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and communication with families and other professionals

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for helping others and a willingness to learn. A current New Zealand driver’s license is required, as well as the ability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.
