The Opportunity
AnaVation is seeking a Cyber Vulnerability Analyst to join our team and support mission-critical operations in Reston, Virginia or Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the Vulnerability Management Program requirements including patch repository management, issuing alerts and bulletins, and tracking compliance.
Core Duties
- Maintain the patch repository to ensure timely application of security patches
- Issue timely alerts and bulletins regarding vulnerabilities and updates
- Track and report on compliance with vulnerability management requirements
- Interface and coordinate with internal cross-functional teams as well as external organizations
What We're Looking For
- Experience in cybersecurity and vulnerability management
- Familiarity with patch management tools and processes
- Strong analytical skills to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
