About the Role

As a Customer Service/Sales associate at Home Depot, you'll be the face of one of America's most trusted home improvement retailers. Rather than waiting for customers to come to you, you'll take a proactive approach — moving through the store, identifying shoppers who need guidance, and walking them through complete project solutions from start to finish.

What You'll Do

• Actively approach customers on the sales floor to understand their project needs and offer relevant product recommendations
• Guide customers through the full sales process — greeting, needs assessment, product recommendation, and closing the sale
• Use Home Depot's in-store tools and product resources to build and maintain product knowledge
• Present complete project solutions rather than individual items, helping customers get everything they need in one visit
• Maintain a friendly, helpful presence that reflects Home Depot's commitment to customer satisfaction
• Keep your assigned department stocked, organized, and ready for customers

• A customer-first mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Genuine eagerness to learn — product knowledge training is provided, but curiosity and initiative make the difference
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple customer interactions
• Comfort standing, walking, and assisting with product handling throughout a shift
• Reliability and a team-oriented attitude
• Prior retail, sales, or customer service experience is a plus but not required
