CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – HEALTHCARE at MAXIMUS in Shawnee, Kansas, KS
About This Position
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at MAXIMUS. As an on-site full-time employee based in Lawrence, KS, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support for healthcare clients.
What You'll Do
- Respond to inquiries from customers regarding health services and benefits
- Process claims and ensure timely resolution of customer issues
- Provide accurate and helpful information over the phone, email, or in person
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve complex cases
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for handling sensitive information
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information
- Prioritization and multitasking capabilities for managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously
- Basic knowledge of healthcare terminology and processes (training provided)
