About the Role
We are currently seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor with 2 years' experience to join our multi-award winning law firm. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work in a leading legal environment that offers hybrid working opportunities and genuine career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide expert advice on Court of Protection matters, including capacity assessments and applications under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- To manage cases from initial client contact through to resolution, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
- To work closely with clients, family members, and other professionals in a supportive environment that values teamwork and collaboration.
- To keep up-to-date with relevant legislation and case law developments affecting Court of Protection practice.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Court of Protection Solicitor, or similar role in the legal field.
- A strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and related legislation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with clients and other professionals.
- A proactive approach to work and a willingness to contribute to the team's success.
