About the Role

As a Cook at Azul Hospitality, you'll be the backbone of our hotel kitchen operations. You'll take ownership of food preparation from start to finish, executing each dish to our exacting standards while maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and food safety. This is a hands-on culinary position where precision, speed, and attention to detail directly impact our guests' dining experience.

What You'll Do

• Prepare all menu items and special dishes according to approved recipes and plating standards
• Measure, combine, and cook ingredients using proper techniques and kitchen equipment
• Maintain strict sanitation protocols and personal hygiene standards throughout all food preparation
• Organize and manage your station to ensure efficient workflow during all service periods
• Monitor food temperatures, cooking times, and quality to ensure consistency and food safety
• Collaborate with other kitchen team members to coordinate timing and execution
• Follow all health codes and safety regulations without exception

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Cook in a hotel, restaurant, or commercial kitchen environment
• Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices
• Ability to read and follow recipes precisely while maintaining quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent, clean food preparation
• Capability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times
• Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
