About the Role
Join MCC's Continuing Education Division as an instructor developing and delivering engaging, project-based classes in creative fabrication. This part-time position serves the growing demand for practical maker skills, digital design training, and hands-on fabrication education among our diverse community learners.
What You'll Do
- Develop and teach non-credit courses in creative fabrication, digital design, and laser cutting technology
- Create curriculum and hands-on projects that engage learners of varying skill levels
- Demonstrate equipment operation, safety practices, and fabrication techniques
- Prepare course materials, demonstrations, and practical assignments
- Foster inclusive classroom environments that support student success and creativity
- Evaluate student work and provide meaningful feedback
- Collaborate with the Continuing Education Division on program development and course improvements
