Position Summary
As a Senior Commercial Portfolio Manager - Equipment Finance (Underwriter), you'll serve as a key decision-maker in our commercial lending operations, responsible for evaluating credit applications, assessing borrower financial health, and approving loans within established credit guidelines. This role plays a crucial part in our institution's risk management and loan portfolio quality, ensuring disciplined underwriting practices across assigned commercial relationships.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of commercial borrowers and evaluate their ability to meet loan obligations
- Review financial statements and supporting documentation to make informed credit decisions
- Perform detailed ratio analysis and trend evaluation of customer financial performance
- Recommend loan approvals, modifications, or denials based on credit policy and risk assessment
- Approve credit facilities within your delegated authority and loan parameters
- Monitor existing commercial credit relationships and portfolio performance
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and compliance with internal credit standards
Qualifications
