Position Summary
A respected community bank in East Lansing, Michigan, Michigan is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Operations Specialist to join its team. This position requires a "plug-and-play" commercial loan processor who can step in and contribute immediately.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage commercial loans from application to closing
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare loan documentation and ensure accuracy of all documents
- Work closely with various departments including credit, underwriting, and legal teams
- Support the operations team in maintaining efficient workflows
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial loan processing or related field
- Strong knowledge of commercial lending processes and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience with loan origination systems is preferred
