About the Role
APL Cargo is currently seeking experienced Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) holders for Over-the-Road (OTR) driving positions in Monroe, Louisiana. This role offers steady miles and a competitive pay range of up to $2,100 per week.
What You'll Do
- Haul refrigerated cargo across 22 home-weekly regions with a focus on maintaining efficient routes and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety of both the vehicle and cargo.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including logbook management and fuel reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Class A CDL holder with at least one year of over-the-road (OTR) driving experience.
- A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for refrigerated (reefer) cargo.
- A clean driving record and a willingness to undergo background checks.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
