Position Summary

Hillside - a HumanGood community is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. This full-time position involves actively incorporating the “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care” and developing an awareness of residents' interests and needs. You will assist residents in maximizing their independence and participation through exemplary care, covering basic needs, activities of daily living, and recreational activities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
• Support residents in maintaining their independence through person-directed care approaches.
• Participate in planning and implementing recreational activities that promote resident well-being.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and families.

Skills & Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Experience in memory support or geriatric care preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, person-directed care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Affinity for working with elderly residents and their families.
