Join Core-Mark's Transportation & Logistics team as a CDL-B Truck Driver in Upton, Worcester County. Position Summary
As a CDL-B Truck Driver at Core-Mark, you'll operate commercial vehicles to transport products from our distribution center to retail locations throughout your service territory. Your reliable, professional performance directly supports customer satisfaction and Core-Mark's reputation for on-time delivery. You'll interact daily with store personnel, managing drop-offs and pickups with professionalism and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on assigned local and regional delivery routes
- Complete comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any maintenance needs
- Load and unload products accurately and efficiently using proper handling techniques
- Maintain precise Department of Transportation (DOT) logbooks and comply with all regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with retail customers and store staff, ensuring positive interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company operating procedures
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL-B)
- Demonstrated safe driving history and satisfactory background clearance
- Proficiency in safely operating and maneuvering commercial vehicles
- Knowledge of and commitment to DOT compliance and vehicle maintenance standards
- Professional customer service approach and interpersonal communication skills
- Consistent attendance and punctual arrival to scheduled routes
- Physical capability to perform loading, unloading, and vehicle operation duties
