CDL A Truck Driver

Dollar General Fleet is hiring full-time Class A CDL truck drivers for regional routes from our Clarkson Valley operation in Saint Louis County. You'll operate commercial vehicles connecting our distribution facilities with retail locations throughout the region, with weekly home time as part of your regular schedule.

About the Role

This full-time position offers consistent regional trucking work with Dollar General Fleet, one of the nation's leading retail logistics operations. You'll run established routes designed for schedule predictability and regular time at home each week.

What You'll Do

• Operate a Class A commercial truck on assigned regional routes between distribution centers and retail stores
• Transport merchandise safely and professionally throughout Saint Louis County and surrounding areas
• Complete pre-trip inspections, vehicle maintenance checks, and delivery documentation
• Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with DOT hours-of-service regulations
• Provide reliable, on-time service to Dollar General retail locations
• Report mechanical issues and ensure vehicle safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record
• Current DOT medical certification
• Professional truck driving experience
• Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Good communication and customer service skills
