About the Role

This CDL-A refrigerated truck driving position combines stable company equipment with the flexibility of regional and over-the-road routes throughout the Midwest. As a truck driver with K&B Transportation, you'll transport temperature-controlled freight, work with consistent dispatch schedules, and build a reliable career with a carrier that values its drivers. Starting pay begins at 68 cents per mile, with a 2,300-mile weekly guarantee to help ensure consistent weekly earnings.

Your Responsibilities

• Safely operate refrigerated commercial trucks on regional and OTR routes across the Midwest
• Monitor and maintain proper cargo temperature throughout transport
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation
• Follow all DOT regulations and safety protocols to protect cargo, equipment, and public safety
• Communicate delivery status, ETAs, and any issues to dispatch and customers
• Maintain accurate hours-of-service logs and required compliance records

Who We're Looking For

• Valid CDL-A license with clean driving record and current DOT medical certification
• Minimum 2 years of professional commercial truck driving experience
• Proven reliability and commitment to on-time, safe delivery performance
• Ability to pass DOT physical examination and background screening
• Experience with refrigerated freight or regional driving is preferred
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
