Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Over the Road (OTR) Reefer drivers to join our team at Decker Truck Line. This position offers a competitive salary of $112k per year and prioritizes productivity over seniority. As an OTR Reefer driver, you will be responsible for transporting refrigerated cargo across long distances while adhering to strict schedules and safety regulations.
What You'll Do
- Drive a company-leased reefer truck on long-haul routes
- Ensure the safe transport of refrigerated goods from origin to destination
- Adhere to all federal and state transportation laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to deliveries
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for individuals with at least 6 months of OTR driving experience. A valid CDL Class A license is required, along with a clean driving record. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently are essential. Prior experience in reefer transportation is preferred but not mandatory.
