About the Role
We're seeking experienced CDL-A drivers for dedicated nighttime freight operations serving the Northeast region. You'll haul dry van truckloads of merchandise, primarily handling no-touch and drop-and-hook freight that minimizes loading and unloading responsibilities. This role combines predictability with professional driving challenges, including low-speed maneuvers and complex backing operations that showcase your skills.
What You'll Do
- Operate a dry van trailer hauling store merchandise throughout Connecticut, New Jersey, New York (including metropolitan New York City), and Pennsylvania
- Perform precise low-speed maneuvers and complex backing operations at customer locations
- Handle 100% no-touch freight and 95% drop-and-hook loads, reducing dock time and physical strain
- Complete 5–8 loads per week while maintaining safety and on-time delivery standards
- Return home weekly for consistent personal time and family commitments
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record
- Professional experience operating dry van trailers in regional freight
- Demonstrated skill in tight-space maneuvering and precise backing
- Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to safety-first operations
- Willingness to work nighttime shifts in a predictable, dedicated route structure
