About the Role
This is a full-time, over-the-road opportunity for an experienced Class A driver who is ready to haul curtain van loads for a respected manufacturer and distributor of building products. Operating out of Huntington, West Virginia, you will keep specialty materials moving safely and on schedule across long-haul routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a CDL A tractor-trailer with a curtain van trailer on OTR routes.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and deliver building products and related freight.
- Maintain accurate logs and remain compliant with all DOT and federal safety regulations.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate consistently with dispatch to ensure timely, damage-free deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A).
- Verifiable over-the-road driving experience, ideally with curtain van or flatbed-style freight.
- Clean driving record and a strong commitment to highway safety.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of securing and transporting freight.
- Willingness to spend extended periods on the road as an OTR company driver.
