Sevita is hiring a Part-Time Caregiver in Nampa, Canyon County to provide direct support and personal care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. About the Role
As a Caregiver with Mentor Community Services—a division of Sevita—you'll deliver person-centered support that respects individual preferences, strengths, and goals. Your work directly impacts the quality of life for the people you serve, helping them build confidence and achieve their aspirations. This part-time position is based in Nampa and involves hands-on caregiving in community and residential settings.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal support
- Assist with medication reminders and health-related tasks as assigned
- Support individuals in daily living skills and community participation
- Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and interdisciplinary care teams
- Document observations and activities accurately
- Respond with sensitivity and patience to individual needs and preferences
What We're Looking For
- Compassion and genuine respect for people with developmental disabilities
- Reliability and strong attendance
- Clear communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and personal care
- Willingness to learn and follow best practices in disability support
- Valid driver's license (preferred for many positions)
- Ability to pass background screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
