About the Role

This Contract Shipboard posting places you on the Hebridean Sky and Island Sky, a matched pair of sister ships. Each vessel welcomes 118 guests into all-suite surroundings and is widely recognised as one of the most polished compact cruise ships afloat, with generous suite space, generous public rooms and generous outdoor decks. You will focus on seamless wine and beverage delivery while meeting exacting hygiene demands that protect guest well-being on every voyage. Working with Vgroup on services connected to Oceanic Leisure, the role blends technical service skill with careful attention to vessel standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver complete wine and beverage service to guests across all shipboard outlets and public spaces
• Carry out daily cleaning, stock organisation and station upkeep while holding every surface and utensil to rigorous sanitation levels
• Confirm that service zones and equipment remain cleaned and maintained strictly in line with USPH standards
• Support the orientation and instruction of newly joined crew so service consistency stays high
• Model safe practice, professional bearing and respectful interaction with both guests and fellow crew throughout every itinerary

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated competence in wine and bar service suitable for a compact luxury ship environment
• Familiarity with professional cleaning routines and USPH sanitation requirements
• Ability to coach new team members and reinforce consistent service habits
• Reliable commitment to safety, polish and considerate conduct under the demands of sea-going schedules
• Willingness to perform continuous production, organisation and hygiene tasks that keep beverage outlets ready for guests
