The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced babysitter to join our family in Christchurch. Our 6-month-old baby boy is talkative, curious, and playful, requiring a nurturing and attentive caregiver.

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Caring for the child during the day
• Ensuring the safety of the child at all times
• Engaging in age-appropriate activities that promote development
• Maintaining a clean and organized environment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

The primary role will be to provide consistent, quality care for our 6-month-old baby boy. Daily tasks include feeding, changing, playing, and ensuring the child's safety in various settings within the home.

• Feeding and bottle preparation
• Changing diapers and maintaining hygiene
• Playing with toys to stimulate development
• Maintaining a clean and organized living space

Requirements

To be successful in this role, we are looking for:

• A caring and patient individual
• Experience in childcare or babysitting
• Good communication skills to interact with the child and family members
• A clean criminal background check (Police vet)
• First aid and CPR certification
• The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
