About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and caring babysitter to join our family in Auckland. The role will involve looking after two young girls, aged 5 and 2, with a focus on school pick-up duties for our eldest starting in August. This is a full-time position based in Auckland.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide care and supervision for the children during after-school hours
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Aid with homework assistance when needed
- Participate in light housekeeping duties as required
- Pick up our eldest daughter from school on weekdays
- Come to collect our youngest daughter from daycare
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 18 years old and a valid driver's license
- Previous experience as a babysitter or childcare provider is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with parents and children
- A warm, patient, and nurturing personality
- Punctuality and reliability are essential
- A background check may be required for this role
