Samsara (NYSE: IOT), the company behind the Connected Operations™ Cloud, is hiring a remote Regional Sales Director, Strategic Enterprise in the UK to lead a high-performing enterprise sales team into the country's largest and most complex organisations.
About the Role
The Regional Sales Director, Strategic Enterprise – UK role sits at the heart of one of Samsara's fastest-expanding global segments. After years of rapid, above-market growth, the UK Enterprise business has reached a stage where momentum must be matched with operational discipline. In this remote UK leadership position, you will guide a team of six Senior Enterprise Account Executives and Client Directors who sell into major organisations across transportation, logistics, infrastructure, utilities, and field services. Your mission is to convert strong results into a repeatable, scalable growth engine — introducing structure, coaching rigour, and a proven enterprise playbook while preserving the speed and builder mindset that fuelled the team's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the performance, growth, and daily leadership of your team, driving new logo wins and expansion across strategic UK accounts.
- Coach Account Executives through intricate, multi-stakeholder deals where contract values frequently reach seven figures over multi-year terms.
- Establish a consistent operating cadence — pipeline reviews, deal inspection, and forecasting discipline — while staying close enough to add value deal by deal.
- Develop reps' skills in reaching economic buyers, building multi-threaded relationships, and aligning Samsara's growing product portfolio to each customer's top priorities.
- Challenge deal qualification and assumptions, helping the team navigate the complexity of selling into large UK enterprises.
- Strengthen commercial capabilities such as cross-sell, multi-product attach, and stakeholder mapping to fuel durable growth.
- Collaborate with the AVP of Strategic and Enterprise Sales UK, fellow RSDs, and cross-functional partners in Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing.
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged team while embodying Samsara's cultural principles.
Qualifications
- Proven frontline or second-line B2B enterprise technology sales leadership with direct responsibility for team quota.
- Track record coaching AEs through multi-quarter cycles averaging £250K+ ACV, including seven-figure deals.
- Experience selling into large, multi-stakeholder organisations involving procurement, legal, and multiple business units.
- Ability to build and enforce a structured sales cadence across pipeline generation, qualification, forecasting accuracy, and stage progression.
- Strong instinct for multi-product or platform selling spanning several use cases and buyer personas.
- Bonus: experience scaling enterprise go-to-market at a high-growth UK or EMEA technology company, a coaching-first leadership style, and comfort building process amid ambiguity.
