About the Role

As an Automotive Technician at Midas, you'll perform a wide range of maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on customer vehicles. You'll be part of a team that uses modern diagnostic technology to identify issues accurately and efficiently, all while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle safety and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose vehicle problems using advanced diagnostic equipment and customer feedback
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, and fluid checks
• Execute repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical systems
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and document findings clearly
• Collaborate with service advisors to explain repairs and recommendations to customers
• Keep detailed work records and maintain accurate documentation
• Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE certification preferred
• Proven experience as an automotive technician or in a related automotive field
• Proficiency with computer-based diagnostic systems and hand tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
• Willingness to continue learning and staying current with industry standards
