Auto Care Center Service Manager

About the Role

As an Auto Care Center Service Manager, you'll manage daily operations and customer experiences at our Walmart automotive facility. This is a leadership position where you'll ensure service quality, team performance, and customer satisfaction while meeting sales and efficiency targets. You'll report to the store's operations team and collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional value to customers seeking tire rotations, oil changes, battery service, and general automotive maintenance.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all auto care services and customer interactions to maintain high satisfaction and safety standards
• Lead, schedule, and develop automotive service technicians and customer service associates
• Monitor service quality, turnaround times, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement
• Manage inventory, equipment, and supplies for efficient center operations
• Meet and exceed sales targets for automotive services and related products
• Ensure compliance with Walmart policies, automotive industry regulations, and health and safety standards
• Train team members on service procedures, customer service excellence, and safety protocols
• Handle customer concerns and resolve service issues professionally

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing or supervising automotive service operations or a similar customer-focused environment
• Strong knowledge of automotive services (tires, oil changes, batteries, maintenance)
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced retail setting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior management experience valued
