The Opportunity

At Canvas Worldwide, we're looking for a driven and innovative Associate to join our team as an Associate Buyer. This role is pivotal in maintaining the video media schedules and preparing you for a career in multimedia buying. You'll be trained on all investment systems and tools, develop negotiation skills, and gain a comprehensive understanding of commercial unit life cycles—from buying to billing.

• Train and master all investment systems and tools of buying
• Work with managers to develop buying and negotiation skills
• Develop a working knowledge of your client’s goals, guidelines, and strategies

Your Responsibilities

As an Associate Buyer at Canvas Worldwide, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of video media schedules. You'll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all media buys are well-executed. Your role involves understanding the entire lifecycle of a commercial unit, from buying to billing.

• Establish strong relationships with both outside vendors and internal teams
• Ensure that all media buys are well-executed
• Develop a complete understanding of "the life of a commercial unit"

Skills & Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, adaptable, and detail-oriented. While specific experience in multimedia buying isn't required, we do value candidates with some background in media or advertising. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
