Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Assistant Lodge Manager / Duty Manager to join our team at a luxury safari camp in Hoedspruit. The successful candidate will support the Lodge Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service.

What You'll Do

• Support the Lodge Manager in managing day-to-day operations of the lodge.
• Ensure all staff are well trained and adhere to the highest standards of customer service.
• Oversee housekeeping, food & beverage services, and other relevant departments as required.
• Manage guest relations and resolve any issues promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of operational strategies.

Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in luxury safari camps or lodges.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Previous experience with guest relations and conflict resolution is essential.
