HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is hiring an Aquatics Instructor (Commission) for a full-time position in Batavia, Clermont County. If you're a certified water fitness professional passionate about building community through aquatic programming, we'd like to meet you.
About the Role
You'll lead our aquatics programming, creating engaging water-based experiences that connect members to their fitness goals and to each other. This commission-based role puts you at the center of our mission to foster meaningful health journeys within the community we serve.
What You'll Do
- Teach swim lessons, water aerobics, and aquatic fitness classes to diverse member populations
- Design and deliver lesson plans that challenge and inspire participants at every skill level
- Ensure safe, clean aquatic facilities that meet all health and safety standards
- Build lasting member relationships to drive engagement, retention, and program growth
- Monitor progress and adjust instruction to help participants achieve their wellness objectives
- Collaborate with the fitness team to promote aquatics offerings and coordinate facility operations
What We're Looking For
- Current aquatics instruction certification (such as Certified Aquatic Instructor or equivalent)
- Active CPR and First Aid certification
- Demonstrated experience teaching swimming or water fitness classes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all age groups
- Genuine commitment to member success and community health
- Professional work ethic suited to a commission-based compensation model
