Role Overview

Nubeero Limited, based in Singapore (nationwide) (nationwide) and a Stripe affiliate, is looking for an experienced Product Counsel for Money Movement Legal (Asia-Pacific) to provide critical legal advice on regulatory matters related to money movement products across the APAC region. This role involves working closely with product, engineering, partnerships, compliance, risk, marketing, and Legal teams to ensure that our products meet evolving regulatory requirements and are brought to market in a compliant manner.

Core Duties

• Provide legal guidance on money movement regulations across APAC
• Collaborate with the global Legal team to develop regulatory strategies for product launches
• Partner with cross-functional teams to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and mitigate risks
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial services laws and regulations
• Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and internal controls related to money movement products

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services regulatory law, with a focus on money movement and digital assets
• Strong understanding of APAC financial regulations and local market nuances
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across multiple teams
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, actionable recommendations
• Familiarity with Stripe’s products and regulatory environment a plus
