Role Overview

You will be working as an Ancillary Operator Trainer Assessor on a coal mine near Moranbah within the Coal Mining Department. This role is part of Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal, operating seven Bowen Basin mine sites with various local, DIDO, and FIFO opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Supporting operations on a coal mine near Moranbah
• Training and assessing ancillary operators in their roles
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
• Participating in maintenance and upkeep of equipment
• Contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the mine site

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as an ancillary operator or related role is advantageous
• A strong understanding of safety protocols and practices in a coal mining environment
• Effective communication and training skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment
• FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) experience preferred but not required for local or DIDO roles
