About the Role
We are seeking an experienced mining professional to join the site leadership team as the Alternate Mine Manager. Reporting to the Mine Manager, this is a hands-on technical and operational role responsible for developing practical mine plans and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mine plans in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents and incidents.
- Support the Mine Manager in managing day-to-day operations, including production planning and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
What You Bring
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role within the mining industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with strong communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of mine planning and operational procedures.
- Experience with safety management systems and compliance requirements.
