About the Role

We are seeking a skilled communications professional to join our team as an Advisor, Communications and Engagement. This role is based in either Hamilton or Tauranga and offers the opportunity to play a critical part in engaging partners and stakeholders about our work in the Waikato or Bay of Plenty regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging content that resonates with communities and stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders
• Contribute to the development and execution of communication strategies
• Ensure effective two-way communication between the agency and its stakeholders
• Support the delivery of work that makes a real difference to communities in the Waikato or Bay of Plenty regions

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Advisor with a proven track record in communication and engagement. Key requirements include:

• A degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working in the transport sector is desirable but not essential
