About This Position
We are seeking a motivated Adventure Cave Guide for our part-time, fixed-term contract during our busy peak season. Join us in leading dynamic teams through the unique environments of Black Water Rafting and Ruakuri Cave operations at Discover Waitomo.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide visitors safely through caves and underground rivers.
- Provide engaging, educational tours about local geology and history.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect both guests and staff.
- Work collaboratively with a team of guides to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
What We're Looking For
- A passion for the outdoors and adventure activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and mentor team members.
- Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain it quickly.
