What This Role Involves

The Director of Finance and Accounting at AcelaBio is responsible for overseeing the company's finance and accounting function end-to-end. This involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, systems, internal controls, and compliance. The role requires ensuring that financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AcelaBio's finance and accounting function, spanning day-to-day operations to strategic planning.
• Provide the executive team and Board with accurate, timely financial information for decision-making purposes.
• Build and maintain the financial infrastructure necessary for supporting company growth.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry best practices.
• Support AcelaBio's restructuring from its sister organization, Alimentiv, ensuring independence in corporate operations.
