Position Summary

To establish and maintain an athletic program of the highest caliber in basketball for 8th grade girls. The position is full-time and requires a commitment to excellence and student development.

<h2-Core Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for the team
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment that fosters teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
• Ensure compliance with all school district policies, rules, and regulations related to coaching and athletics
• Collaborate with other coaches, staff members, and administration to support the overall athletic program
• Evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement

<h2-Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree preferred in education or a related field
• Possess or qualify for New Mexico coaching license
• Teacher experience is a plus but not required
• Demonstrated knowledge of basketball rules and regulations
• A commitment to the development of student athletes both on and off the court
