Join Sinomax USA as a 2nd Shift Production Lead in our La Vergne, Tennessee manufacturing facility. This is a part-time opportunity to lead and oversee production operations during our second shift, working with our team to deliver premium comfort products to customers worldwide.
About the Role
As a Production Lead on the 2nd shift, you will supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities on our production floor. You'll ensure we meet production schedules, maintain quality standards, and operate safely every shift. This role bridges operations and team leadership, requiring hands-on involvement alongside your supervisory responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Direct and supervise production crew during the second shift, providing clear guidance and feedback
- Monitor production output and work to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure finished products meet Sinomax standards
- Identify production challenges and implement solutions to keep operations running smoothly
- Track materials and supplies, communicating inventory needs to management
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures
- Communicate shift progress and any issues to day-shift leadership
- Support training and development of production team members
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
- Ability to work independently and make decisions on the production floor
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfort with hands-on work and willingness to pitch in when needed
- Familiarity with production scheduling and shift operations
