As the Member Services Director at Universal 1 Credit Union, you will lead the strategy, oversight, and day-to-day direction of our member services function. Based on-site in Kettering, this role sits at the heart of our purpose: working together with members on their journey to financial empowerment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the member services team, setting direction and standards of excellence.
• Drive a member-first experience that supports personal, community, and financial wellbeing.
• Coach, develop, and support staff to deliver service that goes beyond what members expect.
• Translate the credit union's mission and vision into practical, day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate across departments to strengthen processes, service quality, and member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience guiding service-focused or member/customer-facing teams, ideally within a financial institution or credit union.
• A strong commitment to building trust and delivering reliable, friendly service.
• Ability to set vision and oversight while supporting and developing people.
• Availability to work full-time, on-site in Kettering, Ohio.
