About the Role

This full-time locum tenens position is based in the Springfield, Illinois area, serving the Jerome community in Sangamon County. As a family practice physician, you will provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, supported throughout your assignment by a single dedicated CompHealth recruiter and the specialized teams behind them. The role is available to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups in a family practice setting.
• Deliver continuity of primary and preventive care to individuals and families.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Availability for a full-time locum assignment beginning as soon as possible.
