About the Role
As a Cultivation Technician (Back Country Crew) at Smith Farms North, you'll be central to producing the premium flower that fuels our Trail brand family. This is a full-time, on-site position in Brainerd, Crow Wing County — ideal for someone who takes pride in healthy plants, clean grow spaces, and consistent quality from seedling to harvest.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cultivation tasks across the plant lifecycle, including planting, transplanting, feeding, pruning, and training.
- Monitor plant health and flag signs of pests, disease, or nutrient issues for prompt action.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant grow environments.
- Support harvesting, trimming, and post-harvest handling of premium flower.
- Track grow data accurately and follow Minnesota cannabis cultivation standards.
- Collaborate with the Back Country Crew to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physical, hands-on agricultural work.
- Able to work full-time on-site in Brainerd, Crow Wing County.
- Willingness to learn cultivation best practices and adhere to regulatory and safety requirements.
- Prior experience in cannabis cultivation, horticulture, agriculture, or greenhouse work is a plus.
- Must meet all legal age and licensing requirements for cannabis employment in Minnesota.
