Position Summary
The Inflight Base Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Inflight operations at their assigned crew domicile(s). This role ensures the Inflight Department's operational excellence, safety, and customer service standards. The Supervisor leads and manages Flight Attendants, fostering a culture of accountability, compliance, and performance excellence. They conduct observation flights, ramp checks, share customer experience metrics, and coach Flight Attendants to exceed performance expectations. Responsibilities include fact-finding and grievance meetings, hiring and terminating employees as needed, managing conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive, team-oriented environment.
Core Duties
- Lead and manage Flight Attendants while fostering accountability, compliance, and performance excellence
- Conduct observation flights, ramp checks, and share customer experience metrics with Flight Attendants
- Coach and develop Flight Attendants to exceed performance expectations
- Conduct fact-finding and grievance meetings as necessary
- Hire and terminate employees when required
- Manage conflict resolution while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment
- Work in an airport setting with front-line responsibilities for day-to-day operations, irregular operations, on-time performance, and safety of Allegiant Flight Attendants
- Use base and department performance metrics to guide decisions and identify improvement opportunities
- Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring adherence to regulatory and Company standards, conducting investigations, and maintaining accurate employment records
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans for smooth operations during irregular schedules and flight interruptions, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Work with cross-functional teams to address delays, improve on-time performance, and support initiatives that enhance the customer experience
- Take ownership of special projects to enhance departmental operational effectiveness and employee engagement
