What This Role Involves

As a Senior Design Engineer within the system integration team at isaraerospace, you will be central to our product development efforts. You will design and develop fluids-related hardware, including high-pressure and cryogenic pipes, manifolds, fluid fittings, storage tanks, and their support structures. Additionally, you will oversee the qualification of these components through test plan definition, documentation, and execution oversight.

Your role extends to integrating designs into global assemblies, defining product requirements and verification efforts, preparing detailed product development roadmaps, maintaining timelines, and conducting design reviews, risk assessments, and trade-off studies. You will collaborate closely with a passionate team and other motivated colleagues across various departments to ensure the successful design and build of our orbital launch vehicle.

Core Duties

• Fluid hardware focused design and development: High pressure & cryogenic pipes, manifolds, fluid fittings, fluid storages, and their support structures
• Fluid hardware qualification: Test plan definition and documentation / test execution oversight
• Implementation and maintenance of engineering change requests
• Integration of designs into global assemblies
• Product requirement & verification definition efforts
• Preparation of detailed product development roadmaps and maintenance of their timelines
• Preparation of design reviews, risk assessments, trade-off studies, etc.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in aerospace or mechanical engineering. A Master's degree is preferred, but not required if you have relevant experience. Proficiency in CAD software and experience with fluid systems design would be beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
