Position Summary
GDIT seeks an SAP Data Migration Engineer to support the SAP S/4HANA transformation programs. This role involves executing data migration activities using SAP Data Services and the S/4HANA Migration Cockpit within a defined framework. The position is based in the United States (nationwide) (nationwide), with no remote option.
What You'll Do
- Execute data extractions from SAP ECC using SAP Data Services (BODS).
- Analyze and query source and staging data using SAP HANA SQL.
- Create, maintain, and optimize dataflows, workflows, and extraction jobs.
- Conduct source data analysis and profiling to identify quality issues.
- Map source-to-target fields for data migration.
- Apply transformation rules, derivations, and validations within SAP Data Services.
- Translate functional mapping specifications into executable ETL logic.
- Load master and transactional data into SAP S/4HANA.
Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in related fields, including data conversions, data extraction, and data mapping.
- Familiarity with SAP Data Services (BODS) and the S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.
- US citizenship required for this position.
- NACI clearance is a requirement.
