The Opportunity
Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is currently seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Times Square, Washington. This position offers the opportunity to work full-time, 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift schedule.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the direction of radiologists and other medical professionals.
- Prepare patients for imaging exams by explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain patient records, including imaging results and documentation of procedures performed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- A current Radiology Technologist license in the state of Washington is required.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist, with preference given to those with travel nursing experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and medical staff.
