About This Position
STR is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Intelligence Division. The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced analytics and machine learning, as well as a security clearance. This full-time position requires working on-site at the company's location.
Core Duties
- Develop and implement advanced data analysis techniques for national security applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems using machine learning models
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions in support of national security objectives
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to data science and security
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
- Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or data science
- Expertise in machine learning and statistical analysis
- Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used in data science
- A security clearance at the appropriate level
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
