About the Role

Baiada Group is seeking a qualified or unqualified Rural Tradesperson to join our team in Calala. As a tradesperson at Baiada, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and infrastructure on our farms and processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair machinery and equipment used in poultry farming and processing operations
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and structures to ensure safety and functionality
• Perform minor construction tasks as required, including carpentry and plumbing repairs
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and industry standards

Requirements

• Experience in a tradesperson role or relevant qualification (apprenticeship preferred)
• A strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work safely at all times
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Licensed to operate heavy machinery if required for the role
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
