Position Summary
Blackbird Interactive is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the adaptation of a large, established simulation game to new platforms. As part of our remote-first team, you will guide the UI/UX design process, establish standards, and ensure an intuitive player experience across multiple genres.
Your Responsibilities
- Guide the UI/UX team in adapting the game for various platforms while preserving its depth.
- Establish and maintain design standards that enhance user experience on each platform.
- Identify UX improvements and mentor designers to ensure a cohesive player experience.
- Coordinate work across features, working closely with design, art, engineering, production, and project leadership.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for games or software applications.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to adapt designs across multiple platforms.
- Experience leading a team and mentoring designers.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and others relevant to the position.
