What This Role Involves
As a Software Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented product and data engineers dedicated to building powerful tools that help investigators worldwide uncover and stop illicit activity in the crypto space. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of crypto investigations by defining the technical direction of our industry-standard product. Your responsibilities include writing and reviewing code, unblocking the team, demonstrating best practices, pairing with team members to share knowledge, and tackling challenging technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team of talented product and data engineers
- Help define the technical direction of our industry-standard product that is quickly becoming the benchmark for excellence in crypto investigations
- Work closely with the Product team to turn complex data into simple, useful product features
- Coach and mentor a high-performing team to foster innovation and ensure we deliver meaningful value to our users
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure we meet business objectives while maintaining technical excellence
- Write and review code to unblock the team or demonstrate best practices, and pair with team members to share knowledge and tackle challenging technical issues

We are looking for a Software Engineering Lead who is passionate about building scalable products that empower compliance teams to track fund flows and uncover deeper insights in financial data. You should have experience solving complex engineering challenges, improving speed, precision, and usability across investigative workflows. Additionally, you should be able to demonstrate best practices, unblock the team, and pair with team members to share knowledge and tackle challenging technical issues.
